Wow, this is my first blog, who would of thought. I have read other blogs before and thought, I will never have a blog. Well there is a first time for everything, and being an ITSer, I didn't really have a choice. I am very excited about having my own blog and collaborating with my fellow colleagues to get ideas of how to use web 2.0 tools in my Physical Education classes.
I think that it would be interesting and beneficial to have our students blog with students from another country and talk about what types of games they play, the types of physical activity they like to engage in and their nutritional habits. The children could exchange popular games that are played in their countries and play them.
I look forward to learning more about blogging and how to use the web 2.o tools.

Nice! I was wondering when you were going to post something. Sounds like you have a positive frame of mind for this experience, and I look forward to hearing more on your thoughts on physical education and blogging. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI have been trying to get the leadership class going and then I forgot about the blogs, I even forgot my password...oops! I did figure out how to remove the extra blog that was originally there. I had tried on Thursday night when I got home from class, but I couldn't find it. I did stumble up how to remove a blog today! Happy Times!!
ReplyDeleteSherri,
ReplyDeleteI saw your comment on Lyndsie's blog about hooking up with a school in England. I am also doing that with my 5th grade VA History plan. The school is in London and some of our former students transfered there.
That is cool Karen,
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can give me a contact name of a sixth grade teacher at that same school who may want to take part in a wiki with my school.
